Kidnapped Sonni Sloan, Bay City reporter and girlfriend of the Cosmic Crusader in an ill-thought out plan to get his nemesis to break CC's oath to never take a life, proving that everything the hero stands for is a lie. A captive Punchline distracted the villain and convinced him it was a stupid, and possibly suicidal, plan.
